The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) presidential election is set to take place on November 7, 2019 in the Polish city of Katowice, according to TASS. The date and location of the WADA Foundation Board Meeting, during which the election will be held, were agreed during Wednesday’s session of the WADA Executive Committee in Baku.

Current WADA President Craig Reedie, who has been heading the organization since 2013, will leave his post after the expiration of his term of office. According to the rules of the organization, the next head of WADA must be a state official, as Reedie represented the sports community.
